Safety is Paramount

It is the policy of Penguin Ice Company to perform every ice delivery in the safest possible manner, so as to prevent accidents and injuries. Every effort is made in the interest of accident prevention, safety and health protection to insure this goal.

The Penguin Ice Company commitment to safety is an integral part of our business plan. This safety commitment is initiated and supported by top management and is effectively implemented by our manufacturing and delivery teams. It is our goal to provide every employee with a safe place to work that is free of hazards. We achieve this through preplanning, effective management, consistent safety meetings, investigations and accurate reporting. To ensure proper compliance, Penguin Ice has a safety officer who is tasked with making certain that each element of safety is scrutinized and actively enforced. Our strong belief is that safety is not a "part-time" job.
